Heading to Paris this weekend? Then you absolutely must head to the southwestern edge of the Jardin du Luxembourg (one of my favorite places on this planet) to discover the "ruches", the beehives that reside in the garden. This hidden corner will come to life this weekend for the " Fête du Miel ", the honey festival. The beehives have been in the garden since 1856. I'm so happy to share this very special wedding with you. It was featured in the Fall/Winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. My beautiful sister is the bride and I was honored to be one of her matrons of honor. apidae candles got to be a part of this special day as well by supplying the candles that lit the long tables in the evening.
